About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and beyond. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, teaching, and research, with specialist services including cancer, renal, orthopaedics, respiratory, cardiovascular, and paediatric care. The Transplant, Renal and Urology (TRU) Directorate, part of the Cancer and Surgery Clinical Group, delivers services across 14 sites in South London, Kent, Sussex, and Guernsey.

The Business Support Manager will provide comprehensive and high-quality administrative support to the TRU Directorate Management Team. This role requires initiative and a broad range of administrative, secretarial, organisational, and analytical skills. Key responsibilities include organising meetings, managing complex diaries, producing accurate meeting materials and minutes, and supporting the management and development of the private patient portfolio under the guidance of the Deputy General Manager.

The role involves maintaining office systems, managing correspondence, overseeing office equipment and supplies, and supporting staff management functions such as induction, training compliance, and leave recording. The post holder will also exercise delegated authority to resolve day-to-day management issues and contribute to service improvements, budget controls, and HR management within the directorate.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large, dynamic NHS directorate, supporting a wide range of clinical specialties and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and service development.
