We are seeking an experienced Capital Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure programme. Working within an integrated project environment, you will support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle across complex, high-value construction and engineering projects, ensuring best practice procurement principles are embedded throughout delivery.

As Capital Procurement Manager, you will lead and manage procurement activities from market engagement through to contract award across a portfolio of major projects. You will work closely with project teams, commercial stakeholders and external partners to deliver robust procurement strategies, drive value, manage risk and ensure governance compliance.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex procurement exercises from pre-tender through to contract award
- Developing procurement strategies, tender documentation and evaluation frameworks
- Supporting supplier engagement and market development activities
- Preparing award recommendations and procurement approvals
- Embedding procurement best practice within project teams
- Managing procurement risks, opportunities and performance milestones
- Supporting supplier framework acquisition, renewal and management
- Ensuring compliance with procurement governance, commercial standards and project controls.

Experience
Significant experience delivering complex procurement programmes within construction, infrastructure or engineering environments. Experience leading multi-million-pound procurement activities on major construction projects. Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and procurement of design, professional services and construction works. Understanding of commercial, legal and technical aspects of infrastructure delivery. Experience operating within complex, regulated project environments. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.

Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex commercial challenges. Able to drive successful procurement outcomes across major projects. Collaborative and proactive with a focus on delivering value and managing risk effectively.

Qualifications
Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience. MCIPS, RICS, IACCM or similar professional accreditation (or extensive procurement lifecycle experience).
