Average 38.5 hours per week, working days only. 8am to 8pm on a 2 week rolling rota: 4 days in week 1 and 3 days in week 2 (12 hour shifts)

About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated Care team. This pivotal role supports residents to live meaningful lives and feel involved within their community. You will deliver high-quality care services within our Care Homes, ensuring excellent standards are maintained. Key responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care, food and drink, and administering medication. You will support residents in all activities of daily living to maximise wellbeing while promoting choice, independence, and dignity. Additionally, you will provide encouragement and companionship by engaging with residents and other stakeholders and support recreational activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Experience
Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential. Willingness to learn and undertake training is required.

- Willingness to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Ability to work shifts including evenings and weekends as part of the rota

Qualifications
Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care preferred or willingness to be trained
