About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Day Care Team Leader to join our Care team. This pivotal role helps ensure our residents live meaningful lives and feel involved within their community. You will be responsible for delivering care services within our Care Homes to excellent standards. Acting as team leader, you will play a key role in supporting residents to meet their physical, emotional and social needs. To ensure seamless care provision, you will manage your team and also act as part of the care team on shift, assisting with personal care and administering medicine. Senior duties include organising staff allocations and breaks, arranging cover for absences, liaising with home managers, and dealing with external agencies or visiting professionals such as GPs.

Experience
- Previous experience in a similar care environment supervising others
- Experience working with older people with dementia

About you
- Willingness to undertake all aspects of care to meet residents’ needs
- Ability to work shifts including weekends and evenings

Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent (minimum)
