About the Role
Join our multi-award-winning organisation as a Relief Housekeeping Assistant within our Hospitality team. This role involves delivering housekeeping and hospitality services across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres to the highest standards. As relief/bank staff, you will cover absences on an as-and-when-required basis, helping to create an inviting and pleasant environment for our service users. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness levels, supporting wider hospitality teams during events and festivals, assisting with laundry duties such as washing, ironing, and preparation, and ensuring infection control procedures are strictly followed. You will also inspect, monitor, and report on products, appliances, and consumables, manage waste disposal in line with policy, and report any hazards or maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Experience
Previous experience working within a housekeeping environment, both independently and as part of a team. Experience in a similar setting with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene is essential.
About you
Understanding of the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people. Ability to work flexibly including weekends. Willingness to support wider hospitality activities and events.
Qualifications
Current Accredited Infection Control Certificate or willingness to be trained. COSHH training is required or willingness to undertake training.
