About the Role
Raffles London at The OWO on London’s Whitehall is a landmark luxury destination combining heritage and modern elegance within a Grade II* listed Edwardian building. The hotel features 120 rooms and suites, 85 branded residences, nine restaurants, three bars including one by Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, a Guerlain spa, Pillar Wellness, and a grand ballroom with 600-seat capacity.
As a Changing Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Spa Butler team to deliver a seamless, discreet, and exceptional guest experience. Your responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within all changing areas, ensuring they reflect a Forbes Five-Star and LQA luxury environment.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, anticipation of guest needs, and a proactive, intuitive approach to service, ensuring every guest feels recognised, cared for, and completely at ease throughout their spa journey.
Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation of all changing facilities including lockers, showers, toilets, steam rooms, and relaxation lounges (B1 & B4)
- Conduct regular and thorough checks to ensure all areas are fully stocked, immaculately presented, and fully operational
- Replenish towels, robes, slippers, and amenities promptly and proactively
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and wet areas are consistently clean, dry, and safe, adhering to health, safety, and luxury standards
- Uphold presentation standards that always reflect a Forbes Five-Star and LQA environment
- Support the butlers with any front of house or back of house duties as necessary
- Maintain a warm, professional, and discreet presence within the changing areas, delivering service in line with Forbes and LQA standards
- Anticipate guest needs with an intuitive and proactive approach, supporting Spa Butlers in delivering a seamless, personalised experience
- Recognise returning members and guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and acknowledged
- Assist guests with amenities, directions, and general queries in a calm and confident manner
- Ensure guest comfort while maintaining the highest levels of privacy, respect, and discretion
- Create a tranquil, welcoming environment that enhances the overall spa journey
- Report and rectify any potential or real hazards immediately
- Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency and Bomb procedures
- Ensure the safety of persons and property by strict adherence to laws and anticipating hazards
- Promote general awareness of Health and Safety in all departmental tasks and activities

Experience
Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.

You are attentive, proactive, and discreet with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You enjoy working as part of a team and can anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required, but experience in luxury hospitality environments is preferred. A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding luxury service standards are essential.
