About the Role
We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the front of house team at Chet’s, The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush. Located in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, Chet’s is a Thai-American comfort food restaurant featuring a large open lobby, vintage seating, a central wraparound bar, and terrace. You will oversee operations across Chet’s, Room Service, The Lobby, and the events space, The Apartment. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional guest and team experiences by leading your team by example, keeping them motivated, empowered, and confident in providing top-quality service.

You will drive revenue through well-planned initiatives and incentives, maintain a strong understanding of guest booking and profiling systems, and take ownership of the restaurant’s P&L. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure seamless collaboration between front and back of house, always striving for operational efficiency without compromising quality or guest experience.

This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests and colleagues alike.

Experience
- Proven track record of leading large teams in restaurants, kitchens, and bars
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar restaurant management role in a busy environment
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management of a restaurant and bar business
- Ability to manage budgets daily, weekly, and monthly with detailed reporting to senior management
