About the Role
Hyde London City marks the rebirth of a London icon. This lavish seven-storey, 111-room property at 15 Old Bailey draws upon a rich and storied past to create a luxurious, bespoke hideaway in the heart of the city. Hyde London City is a destination unto itself, hosting unmatched experiences for locals and discerning global travellers. The brand embraces a festival vibe with music at its core, balancing an elevated bohemian-chic aesthetic with a youthful, laidback ambience. The spaces are defined by vibrant colours and designed to encourage serendipitous connections and new discoveries around every corner. Leydi, the Modern Turkish restaurant, brings the all-day food culture of Istanbul to London with expertly-prepared mangal meat and fish, heritage grain wood-fired breads, low intervention wines, and a sophisticated, fun ambience.
We are seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in developing the commercial strategy for Hyde London City. Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the revenue strategy to maximise room revenue through management of room inventory, pricing, market segmentation, and channel mix. You will also assist with projects such as system builds, opening strategy, and property-level training. You will be the key reference within the team on all aspects of revenue management.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic commercial plans alongside the General Manager and Head of Sales to drive revenue growth across all segments. You will monitor results and adjust strategies to meet objectives and targets. You will incorporate the revenue management philosophy focusing on Mind Share, Market Share, and Channel Share in all revenue, sales, marketing, and operational activities. You will chair weekly commercial meetings to collaborate on revenue, sales, and marketing strategies with hotel and support teams, ensuring operational and profitability impacts are understood.
You will be responsible for weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc data analysis and reporting, identifying trends such as pace, group pace, booking window, and booking channel. Achieving room revenue goals including budget and RevPAR Index with a focus on profitability will be a key part of your role. You will prepare the annual hotel revenue budget and maintain ongoing results analysis, as well as monthly forecasts with daily breakdowns of occupancy, rate, and market segment mix.
Monitoring competitors’ products, revenue management practices, new hotel developments, and local market demand generators will be essential. You will maintain strong relationships with third-party partners including OTA market managers, oversee channel management including rate loading and inventory management, and be responsible for the continued use and maintenance of the Revenue Management System. Forecast validation, daily system interaction, configuration, and maintenance tasks related to the system will also be part of your duties.
