About the Role
Raffles London at The OWO on Whitehall is a prestigious Grade II* listed Edwardian building offering 120 rooms and suites alongside 85 branded residences. The hotel features nine restaurants and three bars, including one by signature chef Mauro Colagreco, a Guerlain spa, Pillar Wellness facilities, and a grand ballroom with a 600-seat capacity. As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will assist senior chefs in preparing and serving pastry and bakery items, ensuring the highest standards and strict adherence to recipes. You will maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to hotel standards. Your responsibilities include following preparation methods and recipe standards, working towards a low waste operation, managing costs effectively, ensuring correct storage, labelling, and stock rotation of food and supplies, and performing additional duties as required, including working in different departments or restaurants. You will also support health and safety by reporting hazards, adhering to fire, emergency, and bomb procedures, and promoting a safe working environment for all.

Experience
A proven track record and ability to provide high levels of service under pressure. Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.
