About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable full-time Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Novotel & Ibis London Excel. You will be part of a supportive environment where you can grow, learn, and develop your skills every day. Your key responsibilities will include carrying out preventative maintenance and regular safety checks across the hotel, responding promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues, and undertaking general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, decorating, carpentry, and repairs. You will conduct routine inspections of hotel areas, equipment, appliances, and systems, support troubleshooting and basic repairs, and always follow hotel security, fire safety, and Health and Safety procedures. Additionally, you will assist guests with information about property facilities in a helpful manner. Please note that duties are not limited to the above list.

Experience
Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset. Hotel maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.

You have strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, a practical hands-on approach with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
