About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable full-time Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Novotel & Ibis London Excel. You will become part of a passionate hospitality team where you can grow, learn, and develop every day.

Your key responsibilities will include carrying out preventative maintenance and regular safety checks across the hotel, responding to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues in a timely and professional manner, and undertaking general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, decorating, carpentry, and repairs. You will also conduct routine inspections of hotel areas, equipment, appliances, and systems, support troubleshooting and basic repairs, and follow hotel security, fire safety, and Health and Safety procedures at all times. Additionally, you will assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way.

Please note that duties are not limited to the above list.

Experience
Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset but not essential. Hotel maintenance experience would be beneficial.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. A practical, hands-on approach with a positive attitude. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
