About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable full-time Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Novotel & Ibis London Excel. You will become part of Accor, a company that supports your growth, learning, and development every day. In this role, you will carry out preventative maintenance and regular safety checks across the hotel, respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues, and undertake general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, decorating, carpentry, and repairs. You will conduct routine inspections of hotel areas, equipment, appliances, and systems, support troubleshooting and basic repairs, and always follow hotel security, fire safety, and Health and Safety procedures. Additionally, you will assist guests with information regarding property facilities in a helpful manner. Please note that duties are not limited to the above list.

Experience
Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset but not essential. Hotel maintenance experience would be beneficial.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. A practical, hands-on approach with a positive attitude. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
