About the Role
Join Pullman London St Pancras as a Maintenance Shift Engineer and be part of a team that values your growth and learning every day. You will contribute actively to guests' comfort by carrying out occasional repair work following specifications and handling unexpected problems efficiently. Your responsibilities will include preventing issues in the hotel's technical installations, implementing corrective action plans as directed by the Technical Manager, and following the preventive maintenance programme. You will liaise with all hotel departments, apply water hygiene procedures, run regular checks and repairs on plant room equipment, organise and support the team to complete various tasks, manage the workshop and monitor spare parts stock. Daily checks on the hotel’s Building Management System (BMS) will ensure the best possible comfort for guests. Additionally, you will log calls and supervise external contractors to maintain high standards.

Experience
Previous experience in maintenance or engineering roles within a hospitality or similar environment is advantageous.

You are service minded with a proactive approach to problem solving and guest comfort. You work well within a team and can organise and support colleagues to complete tasks efficiently. You are reliable, motivated, and able to manage workshop resources effectively.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the UK. Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in maintenance or engineering are desirable but not mandatory.
