About the Role
Join the prestigious Raffles London at The OWO, a landmark Grade II* Edwardian building on Whitehall, where luxury, heritage, and extraordinary experiences come together. As a Goods Receiver, you will be responsible for the acceptance and handling of all incoming deliveries, ensuring all goods are safely and securely accounted for. You will process invoices through the Adaco Purchasing system and collaborate closely with various departments, including the Purchasing Assistant, stores, and cellar teams. Your role includes inspecting deliveries for freshness, quality, and accuracy, refusing damaged or incorrect items, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also assist with stores functions, loading bay maintenance, and cover other related areas as needed. This position requires a proactive approach to improve processes and service levels, while strictly adhering to health and safety standards to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues within the premises.

Health and Safety
You will be expected to report and rectify hazards immediately, be fully conversant with departmental Fire, Emergency and BOMB procedures, and participate in regular emergency drills. Ensuring the safety of all persons and property by complying with laws and anticipating hazards is essential. You will also promote a general awareness of health and safety throughout your department.

Experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in purchasing and confident interaction with suppliers
- Knowledge of purchasing IT systems and market trends
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Recent experience within 5-star hotels or similar roles is desirable
- Previous goods receiving, stores, or purchasing function experience is advantageous
