About the Role
Join the prestigious Raffles London at The OWO, located on London’s historic Whitehall. The Goods Receiver is responsible for the acceptance and handling of all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safe receipt of goods. You will process invoices using the Adaco Purchasing system and collaborate closely with various departments, including the Purchasing Assistant, to maintain accurate inventory records and support stores functions when required.

Your duties will include inspecting deliveries for freshness, quality, and correctness, refusing damaged or incorrect items, and maintaining the loading bay. You will proactively review and improve goods receiving processes to enhance service levels. Additionally, you will assist in stores, cellar, and purchasing activities as needed, including covering staff absences.

Health and safety are paramount; you will ensure hazards are reported and rectified, be familiar with emergency procedures, and promote a safe working environment for all colleagues and guests.

Experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in purchasing and confident interaction with suppliers.
- Knowledge of purchasing IT systems and market trends.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and maintain detailed and accurate records.

Qualifications
- Essential: Strong communication skills and purchasing experience.
- Desirable: Recent experience in 5-star hotels or similar roles, goods receiving/stores or purchasing functions.
- A passion for food and beverage, luxury sector understanding, and hospitality with UHNW customer awareness is advantageous.
