About the Role
Join Raffles London at The OWO, a landmark Grade II* Edwardian building on Whitehall, where luxury, heritage, and exceptional hospitality converge. As Chef de Partie, you will lead and manage a section of the kitchen, overseeing commis and demi chef de parties while assisting sous chefs in food preparation and service to meet Raffles' exacting standards. You will ensure all equipment and utensils are maintained to the highest hygiene standards and contribute to the development and production of dishes across all outlets. Your role includes managing stock ordering and deliveries in collaboration with sous chefs, training junior kitchen staff, and supporting kitchen advancement projects. You will also represent the kitchen by explaining services to guests, visitors, and employees, responding promptly to their needs, and stepping in with additional responsibilities in the absence of senior staff. This position demands a commitment to health and safety, including hazard reporting, adherence to fire and emergency procedures, and fostering a culture of safety awareness within the team.

Requirements

Experience
A proven track record of delivering high levels of service under pressure. Previous experience at demi chef de partie level or higher is desirable. Experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is an advantage.

About you
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining a professional appearance. Willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule. Ability to confidently lead and run a kitchen section. Enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work effectively within a team.

Qualifications
Essential to work on a rota basis as required. Knowledge and adherence to health and safety standards, including fire, emergency, and bomb procedures. Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen environment.
