About the Role
Camden Council is committed to making life better for everyone by placing residents and communities at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a motivated and versatile SEND Commissioning & Performance Officer to join our high-performing team and help shape Camden’s SEND services. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND across Camden.
You will be involved in the full commissioning cycle, including needs assessment, service design, procurement, and contract monitoring. Supporting strategic projects and contributing to Camden’s SEND Strategy, you will work collaboratively across education, health, and care sectors to develop inclusive, evidence-based services.
The role includes supporting quality assurance activities, analysing performance data, and ensuring that the voices of children, young people, and families inform service improvements. You will help map provision, identify gaps, coordinate projects, and contribute to strategic planning.
This post requires an Enhanced DBS check and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Camden also offers the DBS update service.
