About the Role
As a Community Safety Enforcement Officer, you will play an active role in supporting local communities and tackling anti-social behaviour and environmental crime. You will work closely with residents, businesses and partner organisations to identify and resolve issues that affect the quality of life in Camden. This is a highly visible, community-based role where you will undertake patrols, engage directly with citizens, and use a range of enforcement powers and interventions where necessary. You will investigate complaints about issues such as littering, fly-tipping and graffiti, and prepare evidence and case files to support legal action when appropriate. You will also contribute to wider community safety initiatives linked to priorities such as drug misuse, serious violence and violence against women and girls. Flexibility is essential, as some work will take place outside of standard office hours to meet the needs of the service and the community. Alternative flexible working options are available and open to discussion.
