About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London. We are seeking a governance professional to join the Trust’s Corporate Affairs Department, responsible for ensuring a high-quality corporate governance framework that supports good decision-making and robust risk management. The Corporate Governance Manager will manage multiple governance workstreams simultaneously, providing strong business leadership and high-quality senior administrative support. This role involves working closely with the Trust’s Board of Directors, supporting Board and Executive level meetings where key decisions are made. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to improve the service provided by the team and lead on best practice governance.

Experience
Significant experience of working within corporate governance, ideally for a large and/or complex organisation. Experience of managing programmes of work, particularly service development, and facilitating change in accordance with strategic priorities.

About you
Proven communication skills, with the ability to convey complex and sensitive matters to wide audiences. Experience of working under pressure and managing conflicting priorities with senior managers.

Qualifications
Educated to Masters/degree/relevant professional qualification or equivalent work experience.
