About the Role
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is seeking a Corporate STRAPSO, SRM & Rosa Lead responsible for managing and controlling access to tier 2 and tier 3 secure facilities across UKHSA locations. The role ensures all personnel and visitors are authorised, hold appropriate national security vetting clearances, and have a valid business requirement to access designated areas and systems. The post holder will facilitate efficient and timely access in a busy, fast-paced, customer-facing environment and will be inducted onto the STRAP regime, which regulates access to sensitive intelligence material requiring enhanced protective handling.

This reserved post requires UK nationality and a 10-year verifiable UK residency with no absences over 3 months in any 12-month period. The role demands strict confidentiality, safeguarding sensitive information, and working collaboratively with security colleagues and wider UKHSA teams to uphold access control policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include managing security and compliance programmes, secure administrative control of sensitive material and environments, supporting information management compliance, managing secure environments and access control, providing advice on sensitive material and IT systems, and liaising with government partners. The role also involves financial and operational oversight, training delivery, user onboarding, and acting as the organisation’s subject matter expert for STRAP and Rosa systems.

The post holder will lead information and records management at SECRET level, ensure adherence to records management legislation, manage secure device lifecycle and mobile working arrangements, and support device management with the Rosa Service Organisation.

This role is vital to the safety, security, and smooth operation of access to higher classification facilities and requires a clear understanding of national security requirements and government policies.

Experience

Qualifications
- Full UK Nationality or dual/multi-nationality with one part being British (subject to case-by-case review).

- Previous experience within a STRAP environment or similar high-security government or defence settings is desirable but not essential.
- Experience liaising with external agencies, national technical authorities, or government departments on security and vetting matters is desirable.
