About the Role
As a Customer and Trading Manager, you will work closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly every day. You will often be the only manager on site, taking full accountability for the store’s daily operations. Your role involves working alongside your team to complete all tasks efficiently and safely, ensuring customers receive excellent service. People management is a key part of the role, including managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay. You may also support other stores within close-knit networks when needed.

Experience
Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment. Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching a team to do the same. Experience leading store operations independently in the absence of senior management. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs such as sales, availability, customer satisfaction or colleague engagement. Experience managing employee relations issues including performance and absence management.
