We foster a positive, supportive, fair, and inclusive atmosphere that values diversity and challenges bias.
As a Data & AI Product Owner, you will manage the delivery and operations of technology services for a Linklaters product, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the Firm's wider Technology Strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal customers to support the development of the service roadmap and implement data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Data & AI Product Lead in driving strategic vision and delivery milestones, acting as a liaison with the Generative AI Steering Committee, owning operational oversight of the Data & AI product, shaping long-term service vision with senior stakeholders, and leading the development and refinement of the service roadmap and backlog. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI MVPs, maintain awareness of external market trends in Data, AI, and LegalTech, and prepare strategic updates and reports for senior leadership and steering committees.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative AI and data initiatives within a leading global law firm, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable business value and support the Firm’s data and innovation agenda.
Experience
Professional experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis within data or AI-driven environments. Proven track record contributing to successful delivery of AI or data-focused projects in cross-functional teams. Understanding of AI/ML concepts and data architecture, including experience with data pipelines and platforms. Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as sprint planning and backlog grooming, and tools like Jira and Confluence. Experience with data governance, legal technology, or enterprise data solutions is highly desirable.
About you
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of simplifying technical concepts for non-expert audiences. Interest in emerging AI technologies and trends with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or certifications in product management, data science, AI, or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory. A strong foundation in Agile practices and product ownership principles is expected.
