We are seeking a Paralegal or Support Lawyer with at least 2 years' experience in corporate law, company secretarial work, or general corporate transactions to join our Energy & Infrastructure team on a fully remote secondment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing transactions, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting lawyers on complex matters.
The successful candidate will work closely with fee earners, clients, and external parties to drive transactions forward, manage key deliverables, and ensure efficient matter progression from inception to completion. Previous experience within a law firm, in-house legal team, company secretarial function, or corporate governance environment is highly beneficial.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Energy & Infrastructure team on various corporate and transactional matters, assisting with preparation and review of transaction documentation, coordinating workstreams, monitoring deadlines, managing document execution, liaising with stakeholders, supporting corporate governance activities, conducting document reviews, maintaining accurate records, providing progress updates, and contributing to know-how and process improvement initiatives.
Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Paralegal, Support Lawyer, Company Secretary Assistant, or within a corporate legal function
- Essential experience in company secretarial, corporate governance, or general corporate law
- Proven track record supporting transactions, managing documentation, and coordinating multiple stakeholders
