About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London. We are seeking a Deputy General Manager for the Integrated Local Services (ILS) directorate to join our team of 1,000 staff working in adult community care and hospital-based services across South East London. The successful applicant will have an excellent track record in NHS operational management and will report to the ILS General Manager. This role involves managing 17 teams across the directorate and will be the senior operational manager for services including @home, Intermediate Care Lambeth, Intermediate Care Southwark, and Tissue Viability Nurses. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in the NHS agenda to expand healthcare outside of hospital settings.

Experience
Extensive operational leadership experience in large complex organisations. Evidence of leading successful project and/or operational performance and improvement. Experience of managing large, multi-stranded budgets from a range of income sources.

About you
You will possess excellent communication skills, experience with improvement work, a commitment to patient care and performance delivery, along with robust financial and workforce management knowledge. You should be highly collaborative, systematic, and rigorous in your approach, with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Qualifications
Relevant masters, equivalent professional qualification, or equivalent experience. Evidence of recent continuing professional development. Prince 2 qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
