Job overview We are currently seeking a Costing Data Analyst to join the Financial Developments and Costing team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As the Trust moves toward more digital solutions, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a Costing Data Analyst to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative tools and processes. The goal is to enhance the quality and use of cost and patient activity data. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining current systems and creating new processes that take advantage of the EPIC and Finance systems. They will ensure that the data and information flow remain robust and reliable. This person will work closely with the Informatics and Productivity teams to ensure that the information is consistent and aligns with what is published and used by different stakeholders. This role requires strong technical skills and a solid understanding of database systems. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with and influence colleagues from both Finance and non-Finance backgrounds, both within and outside the Trust. They should also be capable of explaining complex guidelines or processes in a way that is easy to understand for a wide range of audiences. The main responsibility of this role is to support the development, improvement and maintenance of the Trust's patient information and costing system and associated processes.
