About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. As a Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will support the Delivery Teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include developing BIM Execution Plans (BEP), maintaining compliance with ISO 19650 and other applicable standards, and implementing governance and assurance processes. You will monitor digital handover to completion, produce information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR), and develop information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources.

You will be involved in object library development aligned with the wider BIM strategy, assurance and checking of the Information Model, and production of the information model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only). Reviewing current technology solutions and researching new innovations to improve BIM processes, including emerging technologies, will be key to your role. You will support construction sequencing strategies using information models and assist the Mace Cost team in preparing cost plans from information models.

Providing training on database usage, data analysis, template creation, assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics is essential. You will understand and perform in line with the Information Management assignment matrix (Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2) and manage the setup of processes and tools for Common Data Environments (CDEs). Upskilling client teams, Mace project managers, and design teams through BIM knowledge sharing sessions will be part of your duties. Collaboration with Mace PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way is expected.

Mace values safety, client focus, integrity, and creating opportunities for people to excel. We champion a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment and support wellbeing in every team. We are committed to delivering quality outcomes and building long-term client relationships while fostering continuous improvement and development within our teams.

Mace is an inclusive employer welcoming applications from a diverse range of candidates. We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all criteria, as you may be suitable for this or other roles. Flexible, part-time, and hybrid working options are available where appropriate.
