About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. As a Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will support the Delivery Team(s) throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. You will delegate tasks to ensure completion and develop BIM Execution Plans (BEP) while maintaining a strong understanding of ISO 19650 and applicable client standards. Your responsibilities include implementing governance and assurance processes, monitoring digital handover to completion, and producing information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, and EIR) in line with ISO 19650.

You will produce information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources, support the delivery of Mace process and procedure guides, and develop object libraries aligned with the wider BIM strategy. Your role involves assurance and checking of the Information Model, production of the information model (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only), and reviewing current technology solutions to improve BIM processes including emerging technologies.

Additional duties include staying up to date with classification developments, supporting construction sequencing strategy using information models, assisting the Mace Cost team with cost plan preparation from information models, and providing training on databases, data analysis, template creation, assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics. You will also understand and perform in line with the Information Management assignment matrix (Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2), set up processes and tools for Common Data Environments (CDEs), and upskill client teams, Mace project managers, and design teams through BIM knowledge sharing sessions. Collaboration with Mace PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way is essential.

Right to work in the UK is essential for this role.
