As a Document Controller at Arcadis, you will support project teams, stakeholders, and clients by managing, controlling, and governing project and organisational information throughout its lifecycle. You will ensure information quality, effective access, control, and traceability, while supporting document submissions, review cycles, approvals, and information requests across project, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or similar information-intensive environments.
Based in either Belfast or the South East England (Kent) area, you will bring an eye for process improvement, efficient data management, and strong communication skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders. You will be an integral part of successful project delivery teams, supporting work across the project lifecycle and into operations.
Your responsibilities will include managing project documentation, records, and information workflows; supporting document submissions, review cycles, and approvals; applying document control principles such as version control, metadata, filing structures, naming conventions, and information governance; and maintaining accurate, complete, accessible, and traceable project information. You will use and support enterprise document and information management systems such as ProjectWise, AssetWise, Aconex, Asite, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.
Additionally, you will manage information-related queries, communicate document control processes clearly, build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, support access controls and secure information handling, and contribute to continuous improvement of document control and information management processes. Maintaining clear records of submissions, reviews, revisions, approvals, and information status will be essential.
