About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London. The Early Phase Oncology MDM Administrator will lead on tracking pathways of patients referred to the Phase 1 Oncology Research Team. By working closely with a wide range of clinical and managerial staff, the post holder will ensure that Phase 1 oncology patients receive treatment as quickly as possible while meeting key targets. The role includes providing high standard administrative support, maintaining databases, scheduling appointments, and ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared for the Early Phase MDM.

Requirements

Experience
Significant proven experience of delivering to high standards in a fast-paced high volume customer care environment. Proven administrative experience and ability to deal with a range of issues independently and efficiently.

About you
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of multi-disciplinary staff at all levels. Ability to work both autonomously and in a team, handle difficult service users, and manage sensitive issues discreetly.

Qualifications
Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent. Educated to diploma level or NVQ 3, City and Guilds certificate level in business administration or equivalent. Evidence of formal further training in short courses related to administrative practices.
