About the Role
Camden Council is committed to building a borough where everyone can thrive by making it the best place to live, work, study and visit. As part of this vision, the People and Inclusion division plays a critical role in supporting the organisation’s shift from bureaucratic, transactional processes to relational, human-centred partnerships.
As an Employee Experience Partner, you will focus on how people feel and experience working at Camden, helping them perform at their best more consistently. You will bring specialist organisation development skills and a willingness to broaden your expertise across a range of areas including data insight, organisation design, organisational psychology, workshop and leadership facilitation, coaching, inclusion, culture change and learning design.
This role involves leading projects aligned with your skills while also engaging in activities that support your growth across the organisation development spectrum. Your work will flex with organisational priorities and may include facilitating corporate induction and leadership workshops, managing projects such as Camden’s mentoring programme, developing and sustaining relationships across a complex organisation, embedding inclusion practices, delivering wellbeing and leadership activities, and supporting coaching and team development.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative organisational journey and make a meaningful impact on employee experience at Camden Council.
Experience
Relevant experience in Organisation Development is essential. You should have a proven ability to work creatively and relationally, using data and evidence as core tools. Experience in facilitating events, project management, embedding inclusion practices, and coaching is highly valued.
About you
You bring an innovative mindset combined with a pragmatic approach to delivering employee experience initiatives. Excellent communication and project management skills are required. You demonstrate curiosity to challenge the status quo, inclusivity to consider diverse perspectives, and authenticity to foster trust. Empathy is crucial, especially in sensitive inclusion work, and you are reflective, evidence-based, and empowering in your approach.
Qualifications
Specific qualifications are not detailed, but a strong foundation in organisation development principles and practices is expected. A willingness to learn and develop across a broad range of employee experience areas is essential.
