The Endoscopy Decontamination Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of endoscopes, cystoscopes, and ureteroscopes to procedure rooms in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with current guidelines. The role involves decontaminating flexible endoscopes in accordance with HTM 01-06 standards, operating automated washers and dryers, handling stock rotation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The post holder will also perform general departmental duties on a rotational basis and contribute to maintaining the department’s reputation for quality and professionalism.

Experience
- Knowledge of decontaminating endoscopes
- Experience working in a Sterile Services Department or Endoscopy Decontamination department

Qualifications
- Evidence of general education, e.g. GCSEs or equivalent
Desirable
- Knowledge of relevant tracking and traceability systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

- Basic IT skills
- Good communication skills
