About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, high quality teaching and research, and is part of King’s Health Partners, an accredited UK academic health sciences centre.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Supply Chain Inventory Operative within the Procurement Shared Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for stock control across multiple locations within Queen Elizabeth Hospital, including wards and theatres, using an Automated Omnicell Ordering System.

This key operational role will be part of a small onsite team managing inventory stock holding in clinical departments, restocking and ordering supplies efficiently to ensure continuous delivery of high quality patient care. The role requires prioritising competing demands and quickly understanding the complexity of the service.

The Procurement Shared Service supports several NHS trusts within London, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital sites, Evelina Children’s Hospital, and Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust. The post holder will contribute to a world-class inventory stock management system, working closely with a multi-professional team in a dynamic environment.
