About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust is home to Europe’s largest dental school, a £160 million Cancer Centre, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and one of the largest critical care units in the UK. It is part of King’s Health Partners and works closely with King’s College London on clinical research.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised Project Officer to join the Integrated Care Transformation Team (ICTT) to help deliver ambitious programmes that improve care and health outcomes for people across Lambeth and Southwark. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of place-based transformation, collaborating with clinical teams, managers, and partners across health and care sectors to turn ideas into practical, sustainable improvements.

The role involves varied and meaningful work across the Integrated Neighbourhood Team and the Neighbourhood Health agenda, as well as other ICTT portfolios. You will lead defined areas of project delivery, coordinate project plans and workshops, analyse information, manage financial processes, engage a wide range of stakeholders, and see the impact of your contribution on patient experience and service delivery.

Supported by an experienced multidisciplinary programme team, you will build valuable project management, service improvement, finance, and leadership skills while contributing to innovative change across NHS organisations.

Main Duties
The Project Officer will lead and support defined transformation and service improvement projects, coordinating day-to-day delivery to ensure objectives, milestones, and outputs are achieved. Key duties include maintaining project plans, risk and issue logs, budgets, and reporting systems; organising meetings and workshops; preparing reports, presentations, and governance papers; analysing project information; managing information and knowledge; supporting audit and evaluation; and working closely with senior clinical, managerial, and partner stakeholders to manage interdependencies, implement change, support service delivery, and perform administrative functions.

Working for Our Organisation
Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust employs around 22,700 staff and is one of the largest NHS Trusts and local employers. The ICTT works closely with various partners in the Southeast London Integrated Care System to lead and deliver transformation and quality improvement programmes that improve population health outcomes in Lambeth and Southwark. The team drives systemic integrated care through programmes focused on Neighbourhood Health Care, Efficient Transfers of Care, and Value-Based Integrated Care, underpinned by Population Health principles and the NHS Ten-Year Health Plan strategy.

The Trust is committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion, supporting flexible working arrangements and ensuring a positive work-life balance for all employees.
