The Experimentation Analyst will join the Experimentation team, a key part of the central Insight & Analytics function. This company-wide role supports the mission to share knowledge and best practices about running experiments and performing crucial analyses. You will provide test analysis and support to stakeholders across the business, assist teams with pre-test metric evaluations, post-test analyses, documentation, and regular communication. You will help establish best practices, maintain consistency in experiment reporting, and advocate for an experimentation culture aligned with FT’s goals.

Working with multiple experimentation tools concurrently, flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential. You will contribute ideas and content to the quarterly Experimentation newsletter and help the team manage multiple work streams and tests.

Requirements

Experience
Minimum 2 years of analyst experience with advanced SQL skills. Proven experience with A/B testing and experimentation, supported by a strong statistical background. Comfortable working with a wide variety of data sets and tools. Experience presenting complex analysis clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders.

About you
You enjoy working with stakeholders and understand the commercial imperatives behind requests, designing A/B tests accordingly. You are flexible, eager to learn, and able to support multiple teams and work streams. Passion for data visualisation and familiarity with visual techniques is desirable. An interest in current affairs is a plus.

Qualifications
University degree in Mathematics, Management, Business, Psychology, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a similar numerate discipline. Experience with tools such as Optimizely or Amplitude Experiment is desirable.
