About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the Harris Federation team, supporting multiple academies across London. Reporting to the Senior Business Partner at the head office in Croydon, this role involves providing expert financial advice and reporting to senior management and budget holders. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and three-year forecasts, managing cash flow and balance sheets, and overseeing financial audit processes. The role requires close collaboration with academy staff including Principals, SENCOs, and budget holders to ensure accurate financial forecasting and funding claims. You will also support recruitment and training of finance officers, conduct termly financial checks, and attend financial performance meetings. This position offers the opportunity to work within a leading education charity dedicated to closing the attainment gap and delivering outstanding academies across London and Essex.

Experience
CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA qualified. Proven experience working with senior staff and budget holders in a finance role. Skilled in meeting tight reporting deadlines and managing financial audits. Strong analytical skills and experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications
