About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving the world’s most complex challenges together.

This role involves managing a team to proactively support Project Managers in ensuring Arcadis projects are set up, forecasted, billed, and closed in a timely manner according to the Arcadis Way Principles. You will work closely with Finance Controllers to ensure accurate performance reporting, minimise working capital, and escalate identified risks.

Direct reports include Project Accounting Specialists and a Project Finance Analyst. You will collaborate regularly with Project Managers, Business Directors, Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Project Finance, Financial Accounting, and Management Reporting teams.

Key responsibilities include providing effective management to engage and develop your team, building trusted relationships with Business Directors, driving working capital improvements through timely billing and cash collection support, training Project Managers on Oracle, advising on efficient project set-up and revenue recognition compliant with IFRS, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

You will support project reforecasting, challenge project performance changes, lead forecasting and review cycles, use financial and operational insight to improve predictability and commercial outcomes, and provide insightful management information to Business and Operations Directors.

Compliance with Arcadis Way policies and procedures is essential. Some ad-hoc travel across UK locations may be required.
