About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operational Productivity and Efficiency team at the heart of GSTT. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent analytical and finance skills to support the Trust’s efficiency challenge. The successful applicant will manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously, working independently and using their initiative to solve problems and produce clear outputs. The role will involve developing financial and non-financial insights to support Continuous Improvement Programme (CIP) identification, tracking and monitoring CIP schemes, and providing peer challenge and quality assurance.

Requirements

Experience
Working knowledge of the NHS structure, roles, clinical processes, datasets, and information systems. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and experience using reporting tools.

About you
Able to work with flexibility, adaptability, and initiative. Strong influencing skills and the ability to explain complex analytical methods to non-analytical people.

Qualifications
Educated to Graduate degree level or equivalent experience in a complex organisation. Relevant accountancy or financial qualifications (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) are essential. Certification in project or programme management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, APM, MSP) is desirable.
