LCH’s ForexClear division is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to support the day-to-day risk management of our OTC foreign exchange clearing service. This technical and collaborative role involves monitoring exposures, supporting margin and stress-testing processes, and contributing to default management readiness. You will work closely with internal teams, clearing members, and market participants, while also supporting new product risk assessments and process enhancements to develop ForexClear’s risk capabilities.
Key responsibilities include risk monitoring with daily exposure escalation and reporting, validating data inputs and pricing models, supporting risk model reviews, maintaining and updating stress-testing scenarios, assisting with default management drills and post-event analysis, and contributing to product and process risk requirements and testing.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of risk activities within a regulated market infrastructure, providing practical experience with cleared products and opportunities to work alongside experienced risk professionals and traders. You will contribute to system enhancements, new product initiatives, and operational improvements as the service evolves.
Experience
- Prior experience in a financial institution, preferably within a central counterparty, investment bank, or broker.
- Familiarity with FX derivatives and/or interest rate products such as swaps, repos, and futures.
- Working knowledge of risk concepts, stress testing, and margining principles.
- Proficiency in using risk systems and data tools; experience with Murex preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative or finance-related field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Finance) preferred.

- Understanding of central clearing frameworks and risk standards is advantageous.
