About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Events Sales, you will be responsible for booking, upselling, and organising private dining and group events within Raffles London. You will work closely with Heads of Departments and operational teams across the hotel to understand and act on guest requirements. This role involves managing budgets, developing a client base, handling payments and invoicing, and following up after events. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel restaurant procedures and events, effectively handle guest queries and concerns, and consistently exceed guest expectations. Additional responsibilities may include covering for line managers or senior employees and working in different departments or restaurants as required.

Leadership
You will provide leadership and guidance to the team when required, encouraging creativity and innovation while recognising contributions. You will foster a positive team environment by supporting colleagues, discussing operational issues, and demonstrating humility by taking responsibility for mistakes.

Health and Safety
You will ensure all hazards are reported and rectified promptly, be fully conversant with departmental Fire, Emergency and Bomb procedures, and ensure the safety of all persons and property by adhering to laws and anticipating hazards. You will promote general awareness of health and safety in all departmental tasks and activities.

Raffles London at The OWO on Whitehall is a landmark Grade II* listed Edwardian building transformed into a luxury hotel with 120 rooms and suites and 85 branded residences. The hotel features nine restaurants, three bars including one by chef Mauro Colagreco, a Guerlain spa, Pillar Wellness, and a grand ballroom with a 600-seat capacity. Requirements

Experience
A proven track record of providing high levels of service under pressure. Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.

Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining an immaculate and professional appearance. Understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule including night shifts. Ability to remain composed under pressure and provide leadership and guidance to the team.
