About the Role
The GSTT Armed Forces Programme was established in 2021 to champion the Armed Forces Covenant commitment made by the UK government to support the Armed Forces community. This team supports welfare and clinical pathways across the trust and wider London, linking Armed Forces supporting organisations with patients and staff to ensure optimal outcomes across the spectrum of support. The post holder will collaborate with clinicians and managers to ensure the best possible staff and patient experience and service delivery. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role involves effective management of interdependencies and delivery of welfare pathway objectives. The specific landscape managed by the post holder is expected to evolve over time as capability and collaboration opportunities grow.
Experience
Experience working within welfare or healthcare settings, preferably with Armed Forces personnel or related communities, is desirable. Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and manage complex pathways is essential.
