This interim role is responsible for contract managing a tier-1 engineering consultancy to conduct three key workstreams: Critical Asset Failure Rate Analysis, a 5-Year Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Audit, and an In-House Direct Labour Team Assessment. The role involves leading the engineering baseline assessment and remedial action plans, chairing monthly steering committee meetings, establishing structured review processes for consultancy deliverables, coordinating data provision, integrating consultant findings into remediation strategies, maintaining a risk register, validating Probability of Failure scoring, and overseeing audit methodologies.
The postholder will ensure performance and deliverables are met to support the Trust’s ambitious capital investment programme and maintain statutory and performance standards in hard services.
Experience
- Substantial experience in a senior hard services role within estates and facilities.
- Proven ability to maintain, monitor, and review statutory and performance standards for hard services.
- Extensive staff management experience, including managing external contractors.
- Significant experience ensuring legal compliance with health and safety legislation and related regulations.
- Experience developing Hard Services Policies and Procedures and introducing service delivery innovations.
- Skilled in formulation and presentation of technical reports.
- Strong understanding of interdepartmental relationships to coordinate service delivery.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a hard services discipline.
