This role involves supporting, monitoring, and serving all food and drinks to customers, clients, and guests, as well as clearing throughout events. You will ensure clean furniture, dining tables, and chairs are available and presented to the highest standard. Responsibilities include cleaning and polishing cutlery, glasses, and crockery, preparing food and beverage requests in designated meeting spaces, working independently with initiative, serving guests with a genuine and positive demeanour, working on licensed bars, using coffee machines, assisting with ordering and deliveries, and managing linen and equipment for events. Comfort serving at fine dining events is preferable but not essential.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in a café or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential. Experience serving at fine dining events is preferable.

Qualifications
Excellent product knowledge of food and beverages. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to take initiative and work independently. Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills. Strong presentation and customer service skills. Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain one. Basic maths skills for inventory management and cash handling. Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional evenings for events. Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is desirable.
