We are looking for a strong, reliable Chef de Partie to join our team, delivering high-quality breakfast and lunch for up to 70 people daily, alongside supporting premium hospitality and events. You will work with top-quality, seasonal produce in a creative, fast-paced kitchen that prides itself on excellence and attention to detail.
This is a client-facing role, so confidence, professionalism, and a well-presented appearance are essential. You will engage with customers during service, demonstrating consistency and a genuine passion for great food and hospitality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety standards are always met
- Station Management: Oversee production of all dishes assigned to your station, maintain supplies and cleanliness in line with policies
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are consistently excellent
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and support colleagues as needed
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, suggesting improvements and innovations
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and ensure equipment is in good working order
Experience
Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
