About the Role
Join us in bringing the renowned Raffles experience to London. Raffles London at The OWO on Whitehall combines luxury, glamour, and extraordinary adventure within a historic Grade II* Edwardian building. This iconic venue offers fine dining, lively bars, wellness and beauty therapies, luxurious suites, and versatile event spaces. As a Host at Spy Bar, you will be responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, serving them in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to ensure an exceptional guest and member experience. You will maintain extensive knowledge of menu offerings and system informatics, keep the workspace and dining area clean and organized, and communicate effectively with the reservations team to manage bookings and special requests. Your role includes accompanying guests to their tables, orienting them within the restaurant, responding to inquiries about the brand, concept, food, and artwork, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security regulations. You will also contribute to sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing. Additional responsibilities may include covering for line managers or working in different departments as required.

Experience
Proven track record of surprising and delighting guests, preferably within a luxury hotel environment adhering to LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards (desirable).

Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English, both verbal and written. Enthusiastic and committed to delivering the best service and experiences in any situation. Detail-oriented and able to work effectively within a team. Flexible and capable of responding to a variety of work situations. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining a professional appearance.
