About the Role
Join Peabody as a Housing Support Worker and make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 16–18, including care leavers. This role is focused on providing practical and emotional support to help young people build life skills, access housing, and gain independence. It is not a care role but a person-centred position aimed at promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and empowerment. You will support individuals who may be socially excluded, disabled, unwell, or homeless by assisting with day-to-day household skills, managing finances, and integrating into the community. Your work will enable customers to achieve their goals and thrive, making a meaningful impact from day one. Experience
Experience supporting vulnerable people in the community or within a supported living environment, either professionally or through volunteering.

About you
Empathetic, resilient, and passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives. Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and external agencies, building strong professional relationships. Confident working independently, including lone working, and as part of a team. Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records. Understanding of safeguarding practices and knowledge of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion within this client group.
