About the Role
We are looking to appoint an ICT Technician to our central IT team at the Harris Federation, a leading education charity with 51 primary and secondary academies across London and Essex. The role involves providing outstanding IT support and project-related activities to staff and students across the academies. You will be responsible for logging, investigating, and resolving IT support needs within agreed service level agreements, imaging and maintaining Windows 10 PCs, laptops, tablets, Apple Macs, iPads, and peripheral equipment such as scanners, printers, interactive whiteboards, and projectors. You will install and test new software and updates, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations. Additionally, you will support on-site infrastructure including physical and virtual servers and networking devices to maintain network availability and security. Administration of user login accounts, distribution, and security groups will also be part of your duties to ensure appropriate access to data and resources. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly successful multi-academy trust dedicated to closing the educational gap and delivering outstanding learning environments.

We are committed to creating exceptional places of learning and supporting every child in London to access the best education possible.

Safeguarding Notice
The Harris Federation and all our academies are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, prohibition from teaching checks. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
