About the Role
The Savoy is one of the world's most iconic hotels, renowned for outstanding service excellence since 1889. As a Laundry Attendant within the Housekeeping Laundry department, you will be a key player at the heart of our operation, taking pride in maintaining a high standard of work in the linen room and ensuring the best possible care of linen used throughout the hotel. Your role will involve preparing linen overnight to support the day teams, handling guest requests and belongings with care and discretion, and promoting a one team mindset through preparation and delivery of essential stock. You will also be responsible for keeping a clean and tidy work environment at all times, supporting the smooth running of laundry operations and contributing to the overall guest experience at this five-star luxury hotel.

Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in the Hospitality Industry preferred, with at least 6 months in Housekeeping desirable.

Physically able to frequently kneel, push, pull, lift, carry, reach, stand and walk.
Highly responsible, able to work independently with little supervision and follow directions thoroughly.
CAN DO attitude with adaptability to change.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Desire to develop skills including luggage service, laundry services, and operation of equipment such as shampoo machines, washing machines, dryers, and ironers.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Flexibility to work various shifts between Monday and Sunday as required.
Ability to maintain discretion and security when handling guest belongings.
