About the Role
You will be responsible for providing case direction and supervision to social workers, enablement and assessment officers, and social work students to support teamwork flow. You will maintain a small complex caseload and work collaboratively with health partners from Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust (BEH) as well as other health and social care colleagues as part of a multi-agency approach. You will undertake a range of statutory care and support functions under the Care Act and assess eligible mental health needs, including Section 117 aftercare under the Mental Health Act 1983. You will be part of a supportive and co-productive team within a united and vibrant service area. Responsibilities also include chairing safeguarding meetings and overseeing safeguarding duties.
