About the Role
The 0-19 Early Help Service delivers interventions to children, young people and families across the borough. The post holder will provide flexible, practical and evidence-based support to children and their families utilising a range of strengths-based approaches to build resilience and promote improved outcomes and life opportunities.

The role includes co-ordinating and leading event planning, managing administration requirements, and maintaining the Barnet Youth and BACE programmes during holidays to ensure inclusion of all eligible young people. The post holder will act as the operational lead on activity delivery for young people in Barnet as part of the children and families Early Help service.

Additionally, the post holder will develop activity programmes, including targeted initiatives as part of BACE and Barnet Youth, addressing the needs of the most vulnerable young people in Barnet who are considered at risk of poor outcomes.

Experience
Experience working with children, young people and families is essential. Experience in event management and delivering programmes, including administration support, activity planning, costing and resourcing, is required.

A passion for creativity and working in dynamic environments is highly valued. A robust understanding of safeguarding is essential, along with the ability to prioritise tasks, keep accurate records, and communicate effectively.
