About the Role
The Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team has an exciting interim opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to undertake auditing and quality assurance activities in line with the Quality Assurance framework within Barnet Family Services. You will drive practice improvement across the Family Services system by conducting audits and building strong relationships with practitioners and managers, adopting an appreciative enquiry approach. This role involves auditing, report writing, and practice development to contribute to Family Services’ key priorities and enhance social work practice.

Experience
Qualified Social Worker with at least five years post-qualifying experience in a statutory social work setting with children and families. Some management experience is required. Proven experience in auditing, report writing, and practice development within social care practice.

Well-developed knowledge of components for outstanding social work practice.
Strong background in social care practice with a creative and flexible approach to evaluating, monitoring, and improving practice.
Ability to build strong professional relationships and adopt an appreciative enquiry approach to drive practice improvement.
Qualifications
Qualified Social Worker status is essential.
