About the Role
The Quality Assurance industry is at a critical juncture in the Digital age with disruptive technological advances. Join the award-winning Home Office Quality Assurance and Testing Team (QAT) within Home Office Digital, a community-led team embedded across all business areas. Quality is at the heart of everything we do, supporting essential UK services through 750 QA professionals.
A strong continuous improvement culture drives how we deliver and assure quality in innovative DevOps environments, including cloud platforms. We are a well-established, close-knit team of quality specialists, recognised as among the best in the industry. We won Testing Team of the Year at the 2024 European Software Testing Awards and were re-certified at TMMi level 5 with the best global score.
Where business needs allow, some roles may offer a hybrid working model with a minimum of 60% office presence expected.
As a Lead QAT Analyst, you will lead quality assurance delivery across projects, adopting a user-centred approach to develop and implement QAT strategies that meet user needs. Collaborating with delivery partners, you will embed QAT by default into development approaches and apply new and emerging tools to enhance organisational success.
Working within programme teams, you will promote quality outcomes and values, develop your leadership skills, and engage stakeholders to deliver high-quality results at pace. You will translate business needs into effective QAT approaches and lead sharing and collaboration within the Home Office Digital community.
