Job overview An exciting opportunity has arisen to for a Band 8a Legal Associate (Commercial/R&D) to join the Trust's Commercial Legal Services Team. This post is a key role within the department and Trust, as a whole. Working closely with the Commercial Legal Services Ream, as well as the R&D Team, the post holder will be responsible for legal negotiation, advice, and supporting the establishment and further development of the commercial and legal risk infrastructure. The role requires legal professional training and practical experience in a commercial or other business setting to ensure a suitable level of competency to work effectively. Main duties of the job Specific requirements within the role are as follows: Complex Legal Negotiation and Advice. Advise, draft, negotiate and conclude complex commercial and R&D legal and regulatory matters from funding or delivery propositions through to dispute management.
