About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey. As Manager - Information Management, you will support the development of strategies, standards and management plans and undertake delivery of the Information Management (IM) discipline for client projects and programmes to ensure efficient information management and successful outcomes. You will deliver IM process and system training and act as the supporting lead for IM on projects or programmes.
You will define and deliver IM strategies, standards (including ISO19650) and processes for client-facing projects and programmes. You will establish and manage the project or programme IM function following the agreed strategy, standards and processes. Training and coaching project colleagues in IM practices and processes will be a key responsibility, driving awareness and continuous improvement.
Additional responsibilities include managing the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored, providing leadership to a team of direct and indirect reports, and ensuring the principles, structures, tools, capabilities and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and excellence. You will contribute comprehensive technical and functional expertise to the global digital centre of excellence, including knowledge sharing, processes and case studies, and support bids with IM strategies and solutions.
You will coordinate the set-up, implementation and development of the common data environment (CDE) and develop and implement processes as outlined within ISO19650, defining how information is produced and assured for digital delivery. Depending on the scale and complexity of projects, you may take overall lead for IM or support the Associate Director (IM Lead).
Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, you will share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.
